William Albert Trace

William Albert Trace, age 74 of 659 Tanner Marsh Road, Guilford, died Tuesday evening at the Hospital of St. Raphael, following an extended illness. Mr. Trace was born November 2, 1926 in Meadville, PA, the son of Myron Dickson & Agnes Querns Trace. A graduate of Meadville High School; he graduated in 1954 from the University of Miami with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and in 1957 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He was also a WWII U.S.Navy veteran. Mr. Trace had been an assistant professor in the Engineering School of Miami University; a Project Engineer with United Aircraft; Director of Marketing with MPB Corp. and retired in 1985 from the Administrative Staff of U.S.Electrical Motors. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth ''Betsy'' Thomas, married 6/9/56, 2 daughters: Lisa of Madrid, Spain & Laura of Hot Springs, AR & 3 grandsons.
