Hamden- William Benjamin Skeper, 93, loving husband of 58 years of Viola Ulrich Skeper, of Worth Ave passed away July 18, 2005. Mr. Skeper was born in New Haven June 12, 1912, a son of the late Henry S. and Elizabeth Casel Skeper and resided in Hamden since 1950. He was employed as a machinist at M & B Electronics and later at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft before retirement. He enjoyed still life painting and was a member of the American Fraternal Society of the Deaf. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Dennis W. Skeper, Brenda McKeever, both of Hamden, and Arlene Sardo of Seymour, seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and a brother. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Wednesday, July 20, from 5-8 pm. Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
