William 'Bill' Henry Morgan
William ''Bill'' Henry Morgan,Jr.,79, of New Haven passed away suddenly at his home Friday, Jan. 23, 2004.He was born in New Haven, June 13, 1924, son of the late William Henry Morgan, Sr. and Cora Hayes Morgan. He was a Housing Specialist for the Redevelopment Agency for the City of New Haven prior to his retirement. Mr. Morgan served in the U.S. Army durning WW II at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and the University of Connecticut and Quinnipiac College. He is survived by a sister, Wilhelmina M. Conquest of North Haven He was predeceased by sisters, Cora M. Wright and Jeanne M. Jones. Funeral Service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Wednesday Jan. 28 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Westville Cemetery.

To Bill\’s Family…. I am so sorry to see that Bill has passed. I was unable to attend services today but wanted to send my condolences. I worked at the Redevelopment Agency long ago with Bill and many others. I have so many fond memories of the time we all spent together there. Bill was a nice man, and he will be missed. Whenever Bill came to take care of business, I knew we\’d take some extra time to .chew the fat.. He always had some interesting stories to tell. I enjoyed knowing him.
