William George Haury

In Hamden, Jan. 26, 2005, William George Haury of 29 Pine River Rd., North Haven. Husband of Elizabeth Walker Haury. Born in New Haven on January 1, 1930, he was the son of the late George W. and Elodie Carrignan Haury. Father of Karen G. Haury of Wallingford and Pamela H. Cunningham and her husband, David of Braintree, MA, brother of the late Georgia Getchel, Jean Harvard, John Haury and Robert Haury. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Bill worked as a printer for the Southern New England Typographic Service for 36 years and 8 years at Stop & Shop. He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church of North Haven.
