William James Russell

Suddenly in New Haven, Nov. 2, 2000, William James Russell. Companion of Robin Pope of 1244 Forest Rd. New Haven. Mr Russell was born in Hartford, son of the late James W. & Betty Kiely Russell. He graduated from Plainville Schools and Boston University. Mr Russell began his career at Atena in Hartford and later moved to the First Union National Bank in Shelton where he was a Vice-President at the time of his death. He was involved in Democratic Politics in Plainville and the Hartford area. He was also active in the Community Theatre's and was a member of the Aetna Players and the Sound Stage Company. Besides his companion, he is survived by his aunt, Mary Crimmins of FL and many loving friends. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 9;30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen Church, 400 Ridge Rd., Hamden at 10 a.m. Friends may call Monday from 4 - 8 pm.
