William P. Charest
MERIDEN - William P. Charest, 74, beloved husband for forty years of Barbara Lazarski Charest, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at Hartford Hospital. Born in Meriden on Nov. 2, 1931, he was the son of the late Raymond and Emily Watrous Charest. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Meriden. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Jackie Daily of Southington and Elphy Perlot of Meriden; his mother-in-law, Betty Lazarski and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Charest, Jr. and three sisters, Betty Gullo, Peggy Charest and Ellen Gudelski. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. ll, at 12 Noon at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, prior to the service. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Dearest Barbara, I was so sorry to hear the news of your hjusbands death. I remeber all the times we would chat about our husbands. I I Know how much you loved him and how sad you must be at this time. I wanted to be with you but I must work every Sat. So please accept my deepest sympathy. I will try to reach you soon. Joanne
