Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Although I did not know her, I have heard wonderful things about her. I wish that the family and friends find comfort in each other and their memories of her.

  2. Dear Evelyn and family — I came to know Willie Mae when she was at the Arden House. I would give her communion on my Sundays there and spend a few minutes talking with her. It always was something I looked forward to. Willie Mae had a special way about her — a sweetness but I could sometimes detect just a little sass! I entered her room one Sunday morning and heard wonderful gospel music on her TV. I said, ‘Doesn’t that make you want to get up and dance?’ She quickly replied, ‘Well, I would if I had two legs!’ Through a twist of fate, I met you, Evelyn. How very special! I’ll keep you all in my prayers. I hope the memories you all have of Willie Mae sustain you. It is good to know she is now at peace and no longer suffering. I won’t forget her!
