West Haven - Winifred Barbara "Bobby" Webb, 81, of 32 Wind Sock Rd., died Tues., March 14, 2006 at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of the late Alan Westley Webb. She was born in New Haven, Oct. 14, 1924, a daughter of the late Thomas Raymond and Esther May Weigand Bailey. She married her high school sweetheart in 1945 in California while he was stationed there in the Navy. They returned to CT becoming lifelong residents of West Haven where they raised their family. Bobby loved to garden, bake and bird watch. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Roxanne Parmelee of Waxahachie, TX, Sandra May Gilmore and husband, Brian of Harwinton, CT, and Laura Elaine Fernandes and husband, Charles of Bethlehem CT, four grandchildren, Gordon Edwards Parmelee, III and his wife, Michele of TX, Cheryl Ann Cox and husband, Kenneth of Burlington, CT, Lisa Beth Wilson and husband Eric, of West Haven, and Chaz Alan Joseph Fernandes of Bethlehem, CT, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by a son Joseph Alan Webb, a brother, Raymond Howard Bailey, a sister, Nancy Hope Bailey Quinn and a granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Parmelee. Funeral service Sat., March 18 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. The Rev. Soon Kook Ahn will officiate. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 583 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
